We begin with a relaxed, no-pressure conversation about your business, your goals, and what you want your website to achieve. This can be a call or an in-person meeting, and it’s your chance to ask questions and explore whether we’re the right fit.

During this initial consultation, we can also review different styles of websites, such as our small local business websites , premium national/global websites, or e-commerce style sites and how they will integrate into your business. Plus any additional services you may require like brand design, or help with strategy or content writing.

1.2. Website Brief & Planning (where needed)

For more considered projects, we use a structured planning process to clarify priorities, remove assumptions, and align decisions with real business goals — not just aesthetics.

This stage focuses on what the website needs to achieve, what your customers need in order to take action, how existing content supports those goals, and how the site fits into your wider business workflow. It’s this depth of understanding that allows us to design websites that are clear, purposeful, and effective.

Because this work directly shapes the success of the final website, strategic planning and proposal development is treated as a separate service, allowing both parties to clearly define scope, expectations, and investment before committing to a full website build.

1.3. Proposal & Next Steps

Using the outcomes of the planning stage, we prepare a tailored proposal outlining the recommended scope, timelines, and investment.

Where appropriate, we may present more than one approach, allowing you to compare options and choose the direction that best fits your business objectives and budget. Once an approach is agreed, we move forward with clear expectations and a clearly defined plan.

Stage 2.

Content, Structure & User Journeys

2.1. Project Activation

Once you’re happy to proceed and the 50% deposit is received, your project is scheduled and we move into preparation.

2.2. Content Planning

Where the planning stage defines what the website needs to achieve, content planning focuses on how that strategy is translated into pages, structure, and user journeys.

Once the project is approved and underway, we move into content planning — bringing together strategy, structure, and content to shape the website in practical terms. This stage focuses on translating the agreed direction into a clear, usable website that supports your objectives and reinforces your Unique Value Proposition.

We plan how content flows across the site, how visitors navigate key pages, and how design elements such as layout, colour, imagery, typography, navigation, and functionality work together to reflect your brand and resonate with your target audience.

2.3. Final Content Submission

Following the content planning stage, if we are not creating the content on your behalf, you will provide the final approved content for your website, including branding, imagery, videos, website copy, and product details. This ensures we can fully develop your website, bringing your vision to life while accurately showcasing your business and its goals.

Stage 3.

Bringing Your Website to Life

3.1. Website Design and Development

After the final content has been submitted, we will begin the process of designing and developing your website.

3.2. Website Review

Once the development of your website is complete, we will provide you with a private link to preview and review the new site. This will allow you to see how the site looks and functions before it is launched. You can provide feedback and request any necessary revisions during this review process.

Stage 4.

Revise & Perfect Your Website

4.1. Feedback Submission

Once you have reviewed the website, you will need to provide consolidated feedback on the site.

Your website package includes one round of changes and one final round of minor text amendments to ensure that the process is efficient and the site can be launched as soon as possible.

4.2. Revisions and Finalization

We will review your feedback and make any necessary revisions to the website. Once we have completed your revisions, we will again give you access to the final revised website for your sign-off.

4.3. Website Approval

Before the website can be launched, we require final approval from you and the remaining 50% payment.

Once these steps have been completed, we will launch the website and make it live for the public to access.

Stage 5.

Launching Your Website to the World

5.1. Website Launch

Once the website has been approved, we will perform the final steps required to launch your website.

5.2. Training & Education

After the website has been launched, we will provide you with a private training session to help you feel confident in editing your new website. This training can be conducted via video call or in person.

5.3. Ongoing Hosting, Maintenance, and Support

All websites require ongoing maintenance to remain secure and reliable. Regular updates are far more effective than occasional fixes.

We offer optional hosting, maintenance, and support services, including security updates and content assistance. These services are recommended but not mandatory.
