Outsourcing design services is great, but it’s nice to know someone is looking out for your best interests. Especially if your design is intended for print, where simple mistakes can be costly to your campaign and your brand credibility.
We’ll help you plan, brief and project manage your design projects, so you get to outsource the design or use your own in-house talent, with peace of mind you’re not making costly mistakes.

Consulting Frequently Asked Questions
Frequently Asked Questions for Hue Marketing Consulting
Do you just work in Phuket?
No, far from it! Thanks to Skype, WhatsApp, Line, Zoom… No matter where you are in the world, we’re able to meet and keep the flow of information moving quickly, sometimes even quicker than local meetings. We have worked with clients from UK, America, Belgium, France, Australia, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Singapore and more.
How much does it cost to work with you?
Well, like “how long is a piece of string?”, it will depend on what we’re working on with you. We have three payment systems, hourly, by project, and retainer blocks.
Hourly rates (2,800 – 3,200 THB)
If you don’t have an in-house marketing expert to lean on. Using a consultant is a cost-effective alternative to employing a full-time marketing director.
If you have a clearly definable start and end to a project, we’ll agree on a project rate before you commit to anything. Our rate to complete the project won’t change – unless you change it.
These can be x hours per week, to attend strategy or planning meetings, brainstorm or review progress, and even perform recurring project work. In addition to regular access, there’s no waiting period for availability. Best of all, retainer rates are considerably lower, because we’re already familiar with your business.
What can I expect if I work with you?
We’re business-minded, creative problem solvers, committed to the success of your project. We set as a priority gaining a deep knowledge of your business and your goals, which helps us to deliver great work, on time and on budget.
How do I contact you to get started?
You can reach out via our contact us page or request a free consultation.
It’s as simple as that. We’ll get some background on your business and a round idea of what you’re looking for our help with. This way when we do chat we’re able to put things in context.
What happens during the Free Consulting call?
Our initial free consultation is an informal call to identify what areas you need help with and if we’re the best solution to fulfil that need.
During the call, we like to get a basic understanding of your business model and what a successful outcome would look like in your eyes. We’ll also need to know your budget, timeline and any resources you will assign to reaching your goal (excluding our consulting rates).
We’ll also check that your goal will be profitable (for you), so we’ll discuss your projected returns to see how that fits with your implementation budget. If your plans aren’t profitable on paper, they won’t survive reality.
If all goes well, we’ll confirm your contact information and get back to you with a few options on how we might work together, including our fees.
What industries do you work with?
Our background is in FMCG, high-street and department store chains, retail parks, home shopping and e-commerce, online travel agencies, and property development.
With over 25 years of first-hand experience, we’ve run thousands of press ads, and several years’ worth of tv and radio spots. Designed and optimised thousands of web pages and almost as many flyers, brochures, leaflets, mailers and promotional gear. Our focus on customer-centric communication builds & strengthens your sales funnel creating marketing systems and processes you can count on.
Do you work with B2B or B2C businesses?
We cater to B2B and B2C clients. At one time there was a significant difference between the two. Now not so much, main point of difference is with B2C you communicate directly with a decision maker. Where B2B there’s a good chance that you’re providing information for an employee to present on your behalf. Process and timelines change slightly but identifying what your customers need and how you solve their problems better than your competition doesn’t change.
Are you a full-service agency?
No, although we can help you with your marketing decisions and projects from company names and domain name selection, branding to website design, stationary, brochures, business cards… We’re here to help you with long-term business-critical problems that will have a massive impact on your business for years or decades.
The positive impact we have on a business we work with isn’t limited to just what we do, often preventing problems before they arise can be just as profitable for your company. That’s where 25+ years in marketing comes into its own.
It’s hard to know what you don’t know, even more so in a constantly evolving sector like marketing, where getting something wrong can have serious long-lasting effects.
We’ll help you define your marketing plans, and social media schedules and set up automation for posts and emails, but we don’t monitor these on a day-to-day basis for you.
