Responsive Property Website Case Study
PP Grand Kamala is a new Phuket property development in Kamala. Phase 1 consists of 10 three story shop-houses completed in August 2017. Location is key with property and even more so when it’s commercial and residential.
PP Grand Kamala is 500 meters off the main road on Hua Khuan Nuea road but most people refer to it as Soi Phuket Fantasea. Its only a few minutes from the beach, with convenient access to shops, markets and banks. Making Kamala an ideal spot for any business to set up shop.
We had a very open brief “to do what we thought was best”. Phase 1 of the build was well under way so we had limited resources to work from. Fortunately, as well as trust in us, the client also had a suitable budget and time frame for us to really go to town.
The objectives we focused on were simple:
The website was never going to have dozens of pages. But a single page site would not be enough to make an impact on the Phuket property market which is already saturated. Because of this we needed to create a strong project identity to help recognition and recall.
All units are unfurnished, so even as we add more updated photos, it’s still difficult to visualise the scale and space of each room. So we created three dimensional floor plans for each level and even added multiple furniture & layout suggestions.
Website Optimisation – Page Speed & Load Times, Responsive Design, Extensive On-Page SEO & Schema Markup.
Verified the listing with Google My Business. – As part of any property website there needs to be a mechanism to collect basic contact details.
We focused on local optimisation on Kamala and more specific keywords like shophouse. We also made the site easy to share on social media, not only by including share buttons but by adding structured data to share.
The website itself included several levels of contact. Phone, IM, Visit, Email, Contact Form and Brochure Download. Each one catering for visitors at different stages of interest.
If you’re going to do something, you might as well do it well. We could have delivered what the client was expecting and they would have been very happy. But the combination of Good Budget, Time and Trust we were able to create more than just a website. We created a highly functional marketing tool for this property.
Within a few days of it’s launch all pages were indexed on the major search engines and ranked in the top 5 results of page 1 for the search terms we targeted.
A simple iconic style logo that represents the buildings design with three negative space areas to represent each floor.
A brochure was an essential part of the websites overall strategy. But equally important making sure the site was easy to share on social networks.
