Responsive Website Re-Design Case Study
This project requited a total transformation, we carefully crafted all new content designed all new graphics to visually support the content. We also developed scripted dynamic customised email responses for each enquiry and made sure all pages were Optimised for Search Engines.
Formally PUSCO, United Services Phuket (USP) have been moving homes and transporting your most valuable possessions around the globe for over 20 years.
They are an active part of a larger worldwide network offering a variety of logistics services. Connecting Phuket and Thailand to the rest of the world.
Combining home removal expertise with two decades of international freight forwarding and logistics experience. USP are able to deliver a complete and reliable moving solution for any situation and to any destination.
The original USP website was as underwhelming and definitely not mobile-friendly. But deeper technical issues like canonical problems, outdated SEO, and broken links were having negative effects on their site and their business. Fortunately, we could address all the problems and more during our responsive website redesign.
The existing content wasn’t very informative to customers and none of the pages had a visible call to action. So brand new content needed to be created for the site before the web development process could begin.
The website design itself needed to meet the usual criteria for a modern website design. Including mobile-friendly (responsive) and Modern, Easy to edit and update, and able to highlight the multiple service areas USP offers.
Most of all it was important that the new USP website reflected the professionalism, efficiency, and attention to detail that you would expect from a logistics company with over 20 years of experience behind them.
Because we design sites around each business, we always start with content. During a normal web design understanding how a business function is critical. To develop content for USP we needed to go even deeper into the day-to-day business to:
As a result, we were able to alter the way that USP presented its services in several ways. We have built-in flexibility to grow and add new services. Without negatively affecting the other services or the site’s design ascetics.
We also transformed the primary service of Home Removal. By adding page-level emphases for search engines and by splitting a single service into four.
While the essence of the service is similar, the process and customers are different. Because of this, we made it possible to target promotions based on individual services. There’s no point promoting international moves to Phuket to people already living on Phuket.
We added a clear and relevant “Call To Action” throughout the website. Directing visitors to call, arrange a free consultation, or fill in one of the simple contact forms. The CTA depends on the type of service.
There are 11 unique contact forms incorporated into the USP site. Yes, eleven! Each form generates a unique email response, that looks like a handwritten email.
The information that visitors receive differs depending on which service they enquire about.
For several reasons we also recommended a suitable upgrade to their hosting service provider. Moving the site to a faster server with a data hub located in Singapore.
Along with the new server came professional email addresses @uspphuket.com to increase customer confidence.
We also designed company email signatures and new business cards to complete the re-design.
Once again we exceeded our client’s expectations by creating more than just a website. We developed an engaging website design and an online sales tool that helps them stand out from their competition but can also become an integral part of their sales and lead generation process.
The USP website now makes a positive and professional first impression on any visitor. Check out the before and after screenshots of the old and new websites and see for yourself.
Clean, clear, responsive design elements. Essential for easy navigation and brand recognition.
Content makes all the difference, so we also created 4 more moving pages to cover the four most common type of moves.
Provides increase SEO and the flexibility to add new services in the future without affecting the website design.
