What Is Patriko London
Patriko London are a brand of luxury hand made ladies shoes. Their roots in high fashion footwear goes back to the early 1970’s in England. In 2014 Patriko London launched their first official collection of ladies shoes. Each shoes is hand crafted using only the finest materials.
What Was Required
Eventually the plan is to develop a full e-commerce website, so this was also something else to keep in mind for the future. But the immediate objective was to create an online presence so that when customers see the new shoes in-store they can go online and learn more.

We also only had a few weeks to get the Patriko London 2014 Collection online before Christmas 2014 as this was the official launch date of the collection. The history and back-story of the company was also important, because although Patriko London is a new brand to the fashion shoe world they have decades of experience behind them. Finally the emphases on quality, with each shoe being hand made from high quality materials by skilled craftsmen.
What We Did
As with any fashion brand look and style is very important, but to keep the focus on the shoes we wanted to make sure that our online display really made the shoes stand out. We did quite a bit of work on the ‘Product Photography’ shots which involved a lot of cutting out and retouching, resizing and more to achieve a consistent look across the collection. When you look at the shoes the only difference we wanted to stand out was the design features of the shoes themselves, not the background, size or angle of each shoe.

Because the site would need to function one way now and then in completely different way later on, it was important to identify a structure that can be used for both website styles. We wanted to be able to build on top of what we were creating, so we always had to keep in mind the eventual move to an e-commerce site.
There wasn’t a huge about of content for the website but SEO was still important so we focused on a connecting PATRIKO with shoes and footware to start with. Again we always want to create a good foundation that we can build on in the future.
The End Result
We’re really happy with the end result and so was the client, we went above and beyond to deliver a website that really made the shoes the star or the show. We were also able to have everything up and running well before the Christmas deadline. We know we’re going to have a long lasting relationship with Patriko London and are looking forward to developing their e-commerce site when they are ready.
